ZTE Unveils Tablet-Like Mobile Projector
ZTE has made the new version in its Spro line of mobile projectors thinner and larger screen, making the Android device look more like a tablet. The processor is a Snapdragon 801 from Qualcom.
The Spro Plus has an 8.4 “amoled screen and 128GB of storage, which can be expanded. The projector is a 500-lumen model, where the previous version, the Spro 2, had to make do with 200 lumens. Wi-Fi is standard. support available, optionally ZTE adds lte support.The battery capacity is 12100mAh.
According to the manufacturer, the projector can display an 80″ image on a surface if it is placed at a distance of 2.4 meters. The Spro Plus also contains two 4W speakers from JBL and the microphones are from Harman. ZTE mainly focuses on on business applications and cites the use of Skype in combination with a USB webcam as an example, but the company also refers to entertainment as an application.
The projector will be released in the summer; a price has not yet been announced.
