ZTE shows teaser with design Axon 9 Pro smartphone
The Chinese manufacturer ZTE has put a teaser online with an image of the Axon 9 Pro. It should follow the popular Axon 7 from two years ago and the manufacturer will present the phone next week in the German capital Berlin.
ZTE has posted the teaser online on its Weibo account. The image shows a device with a notch in the screen like the iPhone X and a chin at the bottom of the screen. On the back, two cameras can be seen in the top left corner, with an LED flash below. Above the Axon logo is also a fingerprint scanner.
The teaser is in preparation for the presentation of the Axon 9 phones, which will take place on August 30 in Berlin. This is happening ahead of the IFA electronics fair that takes place next week in the German capital.
The Axon 9 series should follow the Axon 7 from 2016. That phone turned out to be popular in Europe, because of the low price in combination with the high-resolution OLED screen, good speakers and DAC and the most powerful Qualcomm-soc at the time. The Axon 9 series are ZTE’s first major announcements since it nearly shut down due to a US government trade blockade.
