The Chinese manufacturer ZTE has released a smartphone with a battery capacity of 5000mAh, under the name ZTE Nubia N1. The phone runs on a Helio P10 soc with eight A53 cores. The N1 uses Android 6.0 as its operating system.

With the large battery, the phone can last up to three days according to the specifications with ‘moderate use’, the manufacturer writes on its website. ZTE has a name when it comes to large batteries. The 5.5-inch screen has a full-HD resolution and a pixel density of 401ppi. The whole is housed in an aluminum or gold-colored housing with a fingerprint scanner at the back.

The N1 has 3GB of internal memory and 64GB of storage memory as standard, which can be expanded via the second nano-SIM slot with a micro-SD card. Diagonally above the fingerprint scanner is a thirteen-megapixel camera with f/2.2 and phase-detection autofocus. The front camera also has thirteen megapixels.

The phone changes hands in China for 1699 yuan, or about 230 euros. The phone is very similar to the Nubia Z11 that appeared on the market at the end of June, which is more than 100 euros more expensive. This phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 820-soc, 4 or 6 GB internal memory and 64 or 128 GB storage memory, which can be expanded with a micro SD card. The battery in the Z11 is smaller, namely 3000mAh.
