Zotac introduces the NEN Steam Machine, a small PC equipped with Steam OS. According to the manufacturer, the computer is equipped with a GTX 960 with 3GB, but it is probably a GTX 970M. Zotac includes a Steam Controller.

Zotac already announced its Steam Machine in March, but not all details were known at that time. Thanks to the introduction, we now know more about the small box, which is called Zbox-SN970-P in full. The Steam Machine measures 210x203x62.2mm and, according to the manufacturer, is equipped with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 with 192bit memory bus and 3GB gddr5 memory. However, such a variant of the GTX 960 does not exist; the Nvidia card has a 128bit bus and 2 or 4GB of memory. It is probably the GeForce GTX 970M, the GPU that Zotac spoke about in the announcement in March. It is not clear why the manufacturer now designates it differently. There are four HDMI 2.0 ports, with which a 4k signal at 60Hz can be output.

The CPU is an Intel Core i5-6400T, a frugal 2.2GHz quadcore of the Skylake generation, with a turbo boost to 2.8GHz. 8GB of RAM is installed, which can be expanded to 16GB. Zotac has placed a 1TB HDD for storage. If you want to use an SSD, you will have to add an m2-sata copy yourself. In addition to 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth, there are two gigabit Ethernet ports. Zotac supplies the NEN including a Steam Controller. At Steam, the Zotac Steam Machine is on the website for 1000 dollars, converted including VAT that is about 1100 euros.
