Zotac provides mini workstation with Core i7-10750H and Quadro RTX 3000 video card
Zotac has announced a small workstation in its Zbox Q series that features an Intel Core i7-10750H hexacore and a Quadro RTX 3000 video card from Nvidia. Zotac places the hardware in a 2.65 liter housing.
The housing of the Zotac Zbox Q workstation with type name QCM7T3000 measures 225x203x62.2mm. Despite these small dimensions, the system must provide sufficient computing power to, for example, graphic professionals. The Intel Core i7-10750H, among other things, should take care of that. This is a 45W laptop processor from the Comet Lake H series, with six cores and a clock speed of 2.6GHz. The maximum turbo frequency with a single core is 5GHz.
Zotac combines the CPU with the Quadro RTX 3000 from Nvidia with certified drivers. This mobile video card has a TU106 GPU that is comparable to the GPU of the GeForce RTX 2070 for gamers. There is also room in the housing for two DDR4 memory bars, an m2 SSD, 2.5 “storage and an Intel Optane cache drive.
The Zbox workstation has a memory card reader on the front and two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports of type c. At the back are four USB 3.0 ports, a gigabit ethernet port and a 2.5Gbit / s variant from Killer. There are also two displayport 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 interfaces to connect four screens. Zotac mentions a price of 1625 pounds, which is converted and with VAT 2189 euros, but the company itself has not published a euro price.
