Zotac launches two new Zbox mini PCs
Hardware manufacturer Zotac has introduced two new Zbox mini PCs with Intel Braswell processors. The mini PCs are named Zbox BI323 and Zbox CI323 nano. Both mini PCs can control up to three monitors.
Zotac makes this known in a message on its site. The PCs mainly differ in size and the number of USB ports, namely two USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports for the fanless CI323 nano, while the BI323 offers three of both ports. The CI323 nano measures 127.8×126.8×56.8mm and the BI323 measures 188x188x47mm. In addition, both versions are available in a Plus variant, with 4GB preinstalled, along with a 120GB SSD instead of 32GB.
The regular versions feature an Intel N3150-1.6GHz processor with a maximum burst frequency of 2.08GHz and Intel HD Graphics. In addition, both boxes have two slots for DDR3-1600 memory, a 2.5″ drive bay, a VGA connection, DisplayPort 1.1a and HDMI 1.4b. Both have 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.-0, a headphone output and a microphone input As standard, the Zotac Zbox mini PCs come with Windows 10 Home on a 32GB m2 SSD and with 2GB internal memory.
The differences are in the card reader, where the CI323 nano only has a 3-in-1 card reader, without a USB 3.0 port next to it. The nano also has one less USB 2.0 port and is passively cooled, although the smaller of the two does have two Ethernet ports, where the BI323 only has one.
