Zotac Introduces Range of Fanless Mini PCs With Intel and AMD Chips

Zotac has announced a new line of mini PCs with both Intel and AMD chips. The models are all performed without a fan and, according to the manufacturer, do not produce any noise. The top model has a Core i5 processor from the Haswell series.

The four new mini PCs are united in Zotac’s Zbox C series. The PCs differ in particular in terms of processor. The top model with model number CI540 has an Intel Core i5 4210Y processor from the Haswell series. This dual-core processor does its job at 1.5GHz and with turbo up to 1.9GHz.

Furthermore, Zotac comes with the Zbox CI520, which has a Core i3 4020Y processor, and the Zbox CI320, which is based on a Celeron processor with model number N2930. Finally, there is the CA320, a model with an AMD processor. It has an A6-1450 APU on board whose four cores do their job at 1GHz.

Users can add RAM themselves in the memory slot, while there is space for storage for a 2.5″ HDD or SSD. Micro SD cards are also accepted. All announced models are equipped with gigabit ethernet, bluetooth 4.0 and wifi 802.11 as standard. ac. These so-called Plus models have to be paid extra, but Zotac has not yet announced prices for its new products.
