Zadak presents ‘Double Capacity’ ddr4 module of 32GB
The Chinese manufacturer Zadak shows a DDR4 module that is twice as high as usual. This allows more memory chips to fit on the module. The bar contains 32GB of ram clocked at 3200MT/s. Asus will support such memory.
Zadak shows the memory on his Weibo page and mentions that it is 32GB DDR4-3200. The strip is called Zadak Shield DC Aura 2 RGB in full. DC stands for Double Capacity, but it actually also indicates that the memory is twice as high. The RGB LEDs of the high memory module can be controlled with Aura Sync from Asus.
Earlier, photos of the Double Capacity memory in combination with Asus motherboards appeared. There was a photo of the memory chips on the memory. There are already regular bars of 32GB, but they are generally expensive and not aimed at consumers. There are no modules with extras such as heat spreaders and RGB, for example.
Few details are known about the Double Capacity memory. Presumably, a motherboard that can handle the memory is needed and it is a proprietary standard. The memory is intended for compact systems with micro-atx or mini-itx motherboards that can accommodate up to two memory sticks.
