Drone maker Yuneec has presented a new model, the Mantis G. It is a foldable model with gimbal for stabilization. The specs also match those of predecessor Mantis Q, which came out last year.

The drone can fly for up to 33 minutes on a single charge, Yuneec claims. The gimbal should stabilize video images, while recording is done at 30fps at 4k resolution. If users go to full HD, it will be possible to film at 60fps. It is a relatively small cmos sensor of 1/3.06″ in size with a resolution of 4160×3120 pixels. Like the predecessor Mantis Q, the Mantis G has voice and gesture control.

The quadcopter measures 17.1×9.7x6cm when folded and unfolds to 25×19.5x6cm. It weighs just over 500 grams. The drone will be released at the end of September for 699 euros. This includes a single battery, but Yuneec does supply a controller and two pairs of spare blades.
