YouTube is testing a function to recognize a song by humming
YouTube has started a test where the software can recognize songs by humming the melody.
YouTube voice search
Users in the test can activate voice search and then hum something and the software will redirect the user to search results for that song, reports Google. The feature is active for a few percent of Android users worldwide. A minimum of three seconds of audio is required to perform the search. Google has long had a function in its search engine to recognize music songs by humming, but YouTube does not yet have that.
