Yoshi’s Crafted World Coming to Nintendo Switch on March 29
Yoshi’s Crafted World will be released on March 29 for Nintendo Switch. The game was announced at E3 2017 under the working title ‘Yoshi for Nintendo Switch’ and was initially set to release in 2018. The target price for Yoshi’s Crafted World is 60 euros.
Nintendo has via Twitter published date. The platform game was developed by Good-Feel, the same studio that created Yoshi’s Woolly World for Wii U and Kirby’s Epic Yarn for Wii. A 3DS port of the latter title will be released on March 3, called Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn.
In Yoshi’s Crafted World, Yoshi shares the stage with several of his kind, just like in Woolly World. They must search for parts of the Sundream Stone. It split itself up after Baby Bowser and his caretaker Kamek tried to steal it from Yoshi and his friends.
The levels in Crafted World have a cardboard look, unlike the knitted look in Woolly World. The perspective of the levels can be changed by means of a ground pound, allowing players to see the other side of the levels. Yoshi’s Crafted World, like its predecessor, has a single player and a co-op mode.
