Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be released on November 13
Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be released on Windows 10 and Steam on November 13, as well as for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Games from the Yakuza series were available exclusively for the PlayStation for some time, but several titles also became available for the Xbox One.
According to developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio the new title will also be available for the Xbox Series X in November, although no specific date is mentioned yet. The PlayStation 5 is also mentioned, but the developer only says that this version is coming soon.
The website VG24 / 7 says that in a press release received via email, Sega indicates that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will also be available on Xbox Series X from day one. That would mean that this next-gen console from Microsoft will be available at least from November 13th. The game would be available for PS5 at a later date, Sega said. Presumably the game will be available for free for the new consoles via updates.
It was already known that Yakuza: Like a Dragon would be released sometime at the end of this year, although no exact date had been released so far. Sega has also published a trailer featuring a new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga. The turn-based battles introduced for the first time can also be seen and a number of the nineteen different ‘jobs’ to be performed are shown. The game has been available in Japan for PS4 since January as Yakuza 7: Whereabouts of Light and Darkness.
