Xigmatek comes with a new CPU cooler and VGA cooler
The Taiwanese manufacturer Xigmatek has launched two new coolers. The Balder SD1283 is a large CPU cooler with three thick heat pipes. The Bifrost-VD1065 is a VGA cooler for video cards from both AMD and Nvidia.
The Balder SD1283 has three heat pipes of 8mm thick, which make direct contact with the ihs of the cpu. The Balder stands out for its nickel-plated base, which has been finished to a mirror-like surface. A 120mm fan rotates at a speed between 1000 and 2200 rpm and produces a maximum of 28dBA of noise. Both pushpins and a backplate are included, so that attachment to all recent sockets from AMD and Intel is possible. The cooler measures 120x120x50mm and weighs 700 grams including fan. The Balder SD1283 should cost 32.90 euros and will be for sale soon.
The Bifrost VD1065 is a vga cooler with no fewer than five heat pipes, each 6mm thick. The cooler measures 234×112.5×51.5mm and weighs 480 grams including the two fans. The 100mm fans rotate at up to 2000rpm and then move at 22.39cfm each. The noise production is less than 20dBA. The Bifrost is suitable for the most recent and also a number of older video cards from both Nvidia and AMD. The cooler should cost just under 37 euros and will also be on store shelves soon.
