Xiaomi will announce an OLED TV in its Master Series on Thursday. The Chinese manufacturer has placed a teaser on Weibo for this. It would be a 65″ model with a 4k120Hz panel, presumably from LG. It is not yet known what the television will cost.
The Xiaomi teaser shows the date and is called the Master Series. Details about the screen size has not yet been disclosed by the manufacturer. The teaser image shows that it is a 120Hz panel and that the TV gets Dolby Vision support.
According to the Chinese website IT Home, it is a 65″ OLED TV. It is likely that Xiaomi uses a panel from LG, which is currently the only manufacturer of large OLED panels for TVs. The teaser also states ‘Gaming The manufacturer is probably targeting console gamers with the TV. With a view to the arrival of the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X, an HDMI 2.1 connection would be the obvious choice.
Xiaomi will present the television on Thursday, July 2. It is not yet known in which countries the TV will be released. Last year, Xiaomi released two Mi TVs in Spain, among others. Those 43″ and 55″ LCD TVs are now also in the Pricewatch and are presumably imported by web shops themselves.
