Xiaomi shows teaser of drone with gesture control

Xiaomi has posted a teaser that would show that the company actually has a drone in development. The text on the teaser indicates that a new product will be announced on May 26 at 7 p.m. in China.

In addition, the word ‘uav’ is in the Chinese text, meaning ‘unmanned aerial vehicle’, and a circular camera module is shown, along with four arms with propellers. That is all that is now clear, although a Xiaomi drone app recently appeared online that showed that 4k video is possible.

Patent applications also appeared in China for a drone that should be controllable via a wearable and gestures. Gizchina reports that the drone will cost 3999 yuan, about 545 euros.
