Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite with 64-megapixel camera appears in FCC approval

Xiaomi will probably come with a Mi Note 10 Lite smartphone. This is according to an FCC approval. The smartphone has many similarities with the regular Mi Note 10, but has a different camera setup. Among other things, the soc used remains the same.

The FCC approval does not mention the Mi Note 10 Lite by name, but a listing at the Thai inspection service NBTC does. The FCC approval also mentions the differences between the Mi Note 10 and another, new Xiaomi smartphone, writes XDA Developers.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 10

According to the FCC approval, the suspected Mi Note 10 Lite has five cameras on the back of the device. This includes a 64-megapixel camera, two 8-megapixel cameras, a camera with resolution of 5 megapixels and one with 2 megapixels. The regular Mi Note 10 also has five cameras, but includes a 108-megapixel camera. Laser autofocus is also missing in the Mi Note 10 Lite, where the Note 10 does have it.

The further specifications are almost up to the regular Mi Note 10, including the screen. The Lite model has a 6.47″ OLED screen with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and a screen ratio of 19:9. The selfie camera is also incorporated in a teardrop-shaped notch in the screen. The device still supports a fast charging technology with a capacity of 30W. The Lite variant also has a Snapdragon 730G soc. The same chip is also used in the Mi Note 10. The Mi Note 10 Lite will also come standard with MIUI 11 based on Android 10. The regular Mi Note 10 was shipped with Android 9 at release.

Xiaomi does not mention any specifications, but the FCC approval states that the other hardware does not differ from the Mi Note 10. It is not yet known when Xiaomi plans to present the Lite variant.
