Xiaomi Mi A2 will probably have Snapdragon 626-soc
More specifications of a phone that is supposed to be the Xiaomi Mi A2 have appeared. The device, which in China bears the name Mi 6x, is equipped with a Snapdragon 626-soc. Information about the camera has also been leaked.
The new data has been shared by BestUnderr, which has come up with an image that appears to show the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 6x. The image confirms previous rumors, such as that the device has a 5.99″ screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2910mAh battery.
New information is that the device is equipped with a Snapdragon 626, a soc that is little more than a Snapdragon 625 that runs at 2.2 instead of 2.0 GHz and has support for Bluetooth 4.2. The device also has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with space for a micro-SD card.
The device has two cameras on the back: the primary has a 20-megapixel sensor and an f/2.0 aperture and the second camera has an 8-megapixel sensor and an f/2.8 aperture. The front camera corresponds to the primary rear camera in terms of specifications.
The list also indicates that the device runs Android 8.1. In China it will probably run Miui 9.5. Since its predecessor was an Android One device, there is a good chance that the Mi A2 is running a stock version of Android 8.1. In Europe, Xiaomi officially sells its smartphones in Spain, Portugal and Poland. It is not known whether and when the manufacturer will start selling its devices in the Benelux.
