Xiaomi is coming soon with a new smartphone, the Mi 6X, which seems to be equipped with a Snapdragon 660 processor. This appears from a 'leaked' picture of the packaging in which the Mi 6X will be sold.

The Mi 6X will be the successor of the Mi 5X, which is also sold under the name Mi A1. The difference between the two is that the Mi A1 runs on a completely 'bare' version of Android, while the Mi 5X is equipped with Xiaomi's MIUI interface. It is expected that the Mi 6X also a Mi A2 version will appear.

The picture of the box also shows that the Mi 6X comes with an adapter to a headset with standard 3.5 mm plug to to be able to connect to a usb Type-C port. This means that the Mi 6X, unlike its predecessor, most likely does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

From previously leaked information shows that the Mi 6X (Mi A2) is further equipped with a 5.99 inch FHD + screen , a dual camera at the back with a 20 megapixel and an 8 megapixel sensor, a 20 megapixel selfie camera and a battery with a capacity of 2,910 mAh. The device will have different variants on the market, with 4GB / 6GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage capacity. At some Chinese webshops, the Mi 6X can be ordered (pre-order) for around 300 dollars (245 euros).
