Xiaomi introduces Redmi Note 11 series with flat design and 5000mAh battery

Xiaomi has introduced four Redmi Note 11 phones for the international market. These smartphones have a flat design and have a 5000mAh battery. The phones are slightly different from the Redmi Note 11 devices that were previously released in China.

Xiaomi introduces, among other things, a Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. That will be the highest positioned model in the Redmi Note 11 series. This phone will have a 6.67″ AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G also has a Snapdragon 695 soc from Qualcomm with 5G support, in addition to 6GB or 8GB Lpddr4x memory. and 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The 5000mAh battery can be charged with 67W. The camera island has a 108-megapixel primary sensor, which is assisted by an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The selfie camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels. Xiaomi also comes with a cheaper Redmi Note 11 Pro variant, which gets a MediaTek Helio G96 soc, only supports 4G and gets an extra depth sensor on the back.

Non-Pro models with 33W fast charging

Furthermore, Xiaomi is showing two ‘non-Pro’ Redmi Note 11 models. The Redmi Note 11 will have a 6.43″ screen with a full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680-soc and a maximum of 6GB of memory. The camera island of that device is equipped with a primary 50-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel sensor with wide-angle lens, a macro camera with 2 megapixel resolution and a depth sensor.

A Redmi Note 11S also gets a Helio G96 soc from MediaTek, has a primary 108-megapixel camera and is available with up to 8GB of memory. The two non-Pro models both also have a 5000mAh battery, but support fast charging with a power of up to 33W.

Prices and availability

Although the four Redmi Note 11 phones will also be released in Europe, Xiaomi only mentions dollar prices for the time being. The Redmi Note 11 will be available from $179 for a variant with 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage. The Redmi Note 11S variant will be available from $249. For that amount, the manufacturer supplies a model with 6GB of memory and 64GB of storage. The Redmi Note 11 Pro with 6GB of memory and 64GB of storage will cost $299, while the 5G variant will start at $329. The Pro variants should be available in February. The non-Pro models will be available this month, Android Central writes, among others.

Last year, Xiaomi already introduced Redmi Note 11 phones for the Chinese market. Those phones had other MediaTek Dimensity SOCs. Xiaomi also introduced a Note 11 Pro+ phone that supported 120W fast charging in China. There does not seem to be an international variant of this.
