Xiaomi introduces Redmi K20 Pro Premium with Snapdragon 855 Plus
Xiaomi will soon release an upgraded version of the Redmi K20 Pro. The Redmi K20 Pro Premium has a Snapdragon 855 Plus and an option for 12GB of ram and 512GB of storage. Furthermore, the device is identical to the current K20 Pro.
Xiaomi introduced the original Redmi K20 Pro in May. In August, the Chinese manufacturer also released the smartphone in Europe under the name “Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro”. The new model, the Redmi K20 Pro Premium, contains a Snapdragon 855 Plus chip from Qualcomm. The current K20 Pro has a normal Snapdragon 855. In addition, the K20 Pro Premium has a configuration with 512GB of storage space and 12GB of ram. The regular K20 Pro has a maximum of 256GB storage capacity and 8GB ram.
The new Redmi K20 Pro Premium color option
The Redmi K20 Pro Premium gets a new color option similar to the Avengers edition of the K20 Pro. The new Redmi model comes with Miui 11 installed as standard and includes a refined cooling system. The K20 Pro Premium keeps the same camera configuration. The pop-up front camera with a resolution of 20 megapixels also remains the same. The battery is identical with a capacity of 4000mAh and still supports a fast charging technique with 27W of power.
The basic configuration of the Redmi K20 Pro Premium with 128GB of storage and 8GB of ram costs 2699 Chinese Yuan. This translates to about 340 euros. The model with 512GB of storage space and 8GB of ram costs converted 380 euros and the top model with 512GB storage and 12GB ram costs converted about 407 euros. The Chinese suggested retail prices often deviate from the final euro prices. The phone will be released in China on September 23. It is still unclear whether the K20 Pro Premium will come to the Benelux.
