Xiaomi seems to be coming soon with a successor to the Mi 9. It is probably the international version of the recently announced K20 and K20 Pro with pop-up camera, with the international version probably going to bear the name Mi 9T.

The Chinese manufacturer put a Twitter message online with a reference to the previously released Mi 9, with the question which suffix should receive the successor: T, K or I. Furthermore, Xiaomi did not release any information, except that the device is coming soon. As Xiaomi uses the hashtag #popupinstyle in its Twitter post, it does indeed appear to be a Xiaomi has previously announced devices first in its home country of China and then comes with an international version.

Inside the case of the K20 Pro is a Snapdragon 855-soc, accompanied by 6GB or 8GB ram. On the back is a 48-megapixel camera, based on an IMX 586 from Sony with a pixel size of 0.8μm. The non-Pro version has a less powerful processor with the Snapdragon 730, a fast charging capacity of 18W instead of 27W, and the Sony IMX 582 camera sensor instead of the 586. Furthermore, the specifications are almost the same as the Pro version.
