Xiaomi announces Android TV box Xiaomi Mi Box 4S Max

Xiaomi announces the Mi Box 4S Max for the Chinese market. The Mi Box 4S Max is a more powerful version of the 4S Pro. This version also has 8K support, according to the manufacturer, but has more memory and storage space than its predecessor.

Xiaomi is already offering the Mi Box 4S Max at his website. This version costs 499 yuan, which is about 70 euros. For that you get a set-top box with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. This means that the Mi Box 4S Max has considerably more storage space than the 16GB storage of the 4S Pro.

Furthermore, the Xiaomi Mi Box 4S Max is equipped with an AMlogic S905X3 soc. The box has an HDMI 2.1 connection and a USB type-A port. As an operating system, the Xiaomi Mi Box 4S Max comes with Android 11. A Bluetooth remote control is supplied with the TV box.

It is not known whether the Xiaomi Mi Box 4S Max will also come to the Benelux. The manufacturer has not disclosed a release date or price for markets outside of China.
