XCOM 2 Collection will be released on November 5 for iPads and iPhones

Feral Interactive brings XCOM 2 to iPads and iPhones. The XCOM 2 Collection includes the campaign from XCOM 2 expansion War of the Chosen and four DLCs. The package costs 28 euros and works on iPhones from the iPhone 7 Plus, iPad Pros from 2017 and iPads from 2019.

The iOS and iPadOS version of XCOM 2 is a port created by Feral Interactive. The game is based on the desktop version, not the previously released XCOM 2 Collection for the Nintendo Switch. Unlike the Switch bundle, the base game’s campaign is missing from the iOS version.

Feral Interactive has made a list of hardware that is supported. Many iPhones from recent years are suitable for playing the game, with iPads it concerns all iPad Pro models from 2017 and all other iPads that have appeared from 2019.

The XCOM 2 Collection requires 8.5GB of storage space, but 17GB of free space must be available during installation. The price is 28 euros and there are no in-game purchases or paid DLCs. All extensions are already included in the price. The eponymous package was released on the Nintendo Switch for 50 euros.

Update: The iOS version does not include the XCOM 2 campaign and is not based on the Switch version. The article has been adapted accordingly.
