Open world shooter Redfall will only receive a 30fps Quality mode upon release on Xbox Series consoles. A 60fps Performance mode should come ‘later’, although developer Arkane does not say when this mode should appear. The shooter is also coming to Windows.

The quality mode provides 4k images on the Xbox Series X and 1440p images on the Series S, announces the developer on Twitter. In both modes, the game does not exceed 30fps. The majority of games appearing on Xbox Series or PlayStation 5 consoles these days come with 60fps modes. Gotham Knights, a game that appeared in October last year, only has a 30fps mode.

Redfall is a shooter that can be played in single player or in co-op with up to four players at the same time. In the first-person shooter, the player is stranded on the island village of Redfall in the US state of Massachusetts. This island has been attacked by vampires, which the player must defeat. The game from publisher Bethesda will be released on May 2 for Xbox Series consoles and Windows.
