Xbox One update adds custom profile picture support
Microsoft has released the July update for the Xbox One. The update adds the ability for players to add custom profile pictures to their Xbox profile. In addition, co-streaming has been added to the Mixer service.
Players can add images for Gamer and Club profiles and Club wallpapers via their Xbox One, Windows 10 PC or mobile phone, Major Nelson, head of Xbox Programming at Microsoft, reported. Microsoft points out that users must abide by the code of conduct as everyone can see the images.
The July update adds co-streaming to Mixer, the streaming service Microsoft previously called Beam. Four friends can now broadcast simultaneously and send each other invitations. It is also possible to set that a user logs in automatically when a specific controller is switched on. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can update the iOS or Android app for the Xbox to browse their subscription’s game collection.
