Xbox Live on Xbox 360 is experiencing outage

The Xbox Live service is currently offline for Xbox 360 consoles. According to users on DownDetector, the problem is in Western Europe and the UK and started sometime in the past three days.

The official status page of Microsoft’s online services confirms that this is an Xbox Live outage, but that it only affects Xbox 360 users. Microsoft’s Xbox Support acknowledged the outage at 00:23 tonight and said it is doing everything it can to fix it as soon as possible.

It is currently unclear what caused the outage. On the European support page for Xbox Live, the Xbox team is contacting European ISPs to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
