World of Warships: Legends is coming to iOS and Android
The tactical mmo game World of Warships: Legends comes out on iOS and Android devices. A first test is currently underway in Canada. It is unknown when the game will be available on mobile devices for the rest of the world.
The mobile versions will be cross-platform with the console versions, developer Wargaming said in an email. That applies not only to matchmaking, but also to game progress, allowing console players with the mobile version to pick up right where they left off. However, the latter is not yet in the test version. The test in Canada is also currently only available for ‘high-end Android devices’. The developer does not provide any further explanation.
World of Warships: Legends was released in 2019 as a console version of the ‘regular’ World of Warships game for PCs. Although it is broadly the same tactical game, where players have to sink the opponents’ ships, there are differences. For example, the gameplay is faster and the battles are more compact, since the teams are smaller. Also, both versions have some unique ships and game mechanics.
