Wooting Two keyboard with Lekker switches to be released in early 2020
Wooting will be taking pre-orders for its Wooting Two Lekker Edition keyboard starting this summer. The device should appear early next year. It is a mechanical keyboard with Wooting’s own Lekker switches with analog input.
Wooting showed the Wooting Two Lekker Edition during the Computex fair and has now also put the product page on his site. It can be read that the company will receive pre-orders from the summer and that the keyboard will be released in a limited edition. The company still wants to process feedback on the design and could then deliver the product from early 2020. A price has not yet been announced, but the keyboard will be more expensive than the Wooting Two, which the company currently offers for 150 euros.
The Wooting Two Lekker Edition has 108 keys with Lekker switches. These are switches with analog input that Wooting designed himself and whose operation is based on the Hall effect. Wooting specializes in mechanical keyboards with analog input. This makes it possible, for example, to run faster or softer in games based on how hard a player presses a key.
The Lekker Edition of the Wooting Two also has RGB lighting per key, a 1000Hz polling rate, n-key rollover, anti-ghosting, and 8MB of memory for the storage of up to four profiles. The dimensions are 460x150x39mm and the keyboard weighs about 950 grams.
