With Virtual Reality take a look at the bottom of the sea
A new video system, the Hydrus VR, can film in the sea at 300 meters, 360 degrees around. The camera is intended for professional filmmakers. But everyone can enjoy the undersea images.
Hydrus VR
The Hydrus VR was developed by Marine Imaging Technology. It shoots 8K images and consists of a total of ten cameras. Eight of them are in a horizontal circle and two are vertical. The camera can also take pictures in places with low light.
Filmmakers can go all sorts of ways with the system. For example, it can also be attached to a control arm or to robots. In total, the camera can film for two hours in a row. The images of the various cameras are glued together, with the images overlapping for 60%.
