The Samsung Galaxy A52S 5G will reportedly be released at the end of this month for a starting price of 449 euros. The updated version of the Galaxy A52 would be equipped with a Snapdragon 778G soc. Furthermore, the specifications seem to fully correspond to those of the predecessor.

The as yet unannounced smartphone will be equipped with a better soc because the performance of the current Samsung Galaxy A52 was criticized, writes the usually very well-informed WinFuture journalist Roland Quandt. Also in our review of the Galaxy A52, the relatively slow Snapdragon 750G of that device was mentioned as a downside. The single-core performance should increase by more than 15 percent with the Snapdragon 778G.

Other than that, all other specifications would remain the same. The Samsung Galaxy A52S 5G would again have a 6.5″ screen with 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Also the design, the 4500mAh battery, the primary 64-megapixel sensor, the 12-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide angle lens and the macro and depth cameras remain the same.

According to WinFuture, the Samsung Galaxy A52S 5G will receive a suggested retail price of 449 euros, 20 euros more than the suggested retail price of the original Galaxy A52. In Europe, there would again only be a variant with 6GB ram and 128GB storage space.

There have been regular rumors about the alleged Samsung Galaxy A52S 5G in recent months. Today, MySmartPrice spotted the Indian support page of the device with model number SM-A528B/DS. That same number was used on Geekbench for a benchmark of the smartphone at the end of July.
