Windows 10 version 1903 and development tools appear on developer network MS
The Windows 10 May 2019 Update, also known as version 1903, can be found on MSDN, the Microsoft Developer Network. That happened a month earlier than the Redmond-based company said it planned. Windows Server version 1903 is also available on MSDN.
Microsoft expert Mary Jo Foley writes on ZDNet that the move is striking: the company stated earlier this month that the update would not be available to large and business customers until the end of May. Simultaneously with that, a new major Windows Update normally comes on MSDN, but Microsoft is now breaking with that tradition. Foley notes that Redmond is now actually using the developer channel of its distribution as such.
Developers can subscribe to Microsoft’s development platform for about 40 euros per month, which also gives them access to the Microsoft Developer Network. Windows 10 version 1903 is also available to testers in the Windows Insider Program’s Release Preview Ring, starting April 8. Users who want to download the update this way can register for the program.
