Wildwest game Desperados III will be released on June 16 for PC and consoles

Publisher THQ Nordic will release Desperados III on June 16. The tactical wild west game will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The gameplay of the game is reminiscent of the first installment from 2001 and the games of the Commandos series.

THQ Nordic announces that the game will be released in mid-June through a new trailer that introduces the character John Cooper. The game can now also be pre-ordered via the website of the makers. The PC version costs fifty euros and the console versions cost sixty euros.

The first Desperados game came out in 2001. The game is similar in gameplay to Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, which appeared a few years earlier. The new Desperados game is inspired by those classics, the makers say. Nordic Games has owned the rights to the series since 2013. Desperados III was created by German developer Mimimi Games.
