Wiko releases View2 smartphones with 19:9 screen ratio and borderless design
Wiko has presented two different View2 smartphones that have screens with a 19:9 ratio and a cutout at the top of the screen for the front camera. The manufacturer also shows three new phones from the View series and three budget smartphones from the Y series.
The View2 phones, the View2 and the View2 Pro, have as a characteristic feature a screen that occupies a relatively large part of the front of the smartphones, with space at the top of the screen for the front camera by means of a round cutout. This resembles that of the Essential Phone, while there is still a relatively large bezel on the bottom of both Wiko phones.
The Wiko View2 Pro has a dual camera on the back, one of which uses a lens that provides an angle of view of 120 degrees. The second camera, which, like the wide-angle camera, has a resolution of 16 mexapixel, is one with an aperture of f/1.75. The View2 smartphone does not have a dual camera and, like the larger View2 Pro, has a front camera with an aperture of f/2.0 where the light output is said to have been further improved by merging the pixel information from four pixels into one pixel. The camera on the back of the View2 is a 13-megapixel one.

Under the hood, the View2 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450-soc, while the smaller View2 phone has to make do with a Snapdragon 435. The larger of the two gets 4GB of ram and 64GB of storage; the View2 has RAM with a capacity of 3GB and storage space of 32GB. On both phones, the storage space can be increased with a micro SD card. The screen sizes and resolutions have not been disclosed by the manufacturer. Both devices have a 3,000mAh battery, run on Android 8.0 Oreo and support dual sim; for the latter, the second slot of the micro-sd card is used. The Wiko View2 will be available in April for 199 euros, while the larger View2 Pro will be released in May for 299 euros.
In the different View series, Wiko has presented three new smartphones. The View Go has a 5.7″ screen with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 13-megapixel camera and a front camera with a 5 megapixel resolution. The View Lite has a 5.45″ screen with same resolution and the same camera on the back, but the front camera is a 16-megapixel one with a flash. The View Max has a screen with a diagonal of 5.99″ with again a resolution of 1440×720 pixels, which is combined with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a battery with a capacity of 4000mAh. The screens of the three View phones have a The View Go costs 149 euros, the View Lite 159 euros and the View Max 179. It is not yet known when the devices will be released.

The Lenny5 has a 5.7″ screen with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels and has stereo speakers. The Tommy3 and Jerry3 have a 5.45″ screen with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. The Tommy3 and Lenny5 have an 8-megapixel camera on the back and the Jerry a 5-megapixel one. The Tommy3 is probably the only one with an NFC chip and support for 4G. It is not yet known when the devices will be released.
