Why Meta’s data center in Zeewolde may still be there if everyone is against it
The arrival of the data center of Facebook parent company Meta seems to be in doubt. The new city council is strongly against, Minister De Jonge is not enthusiastic and the Senate wants the government to intervene against the construction. But that doesn’t mean the data center won’t be built.
The arrival of the hyperscale data center of Facebook parent company Meta seemed in order, after the city council of Zeewolde changed the zoning plan in December that makes the arrival of the data center possible.
