WhatsApp will make WhatsApp Business available worldwide in the coming weeks

WhatsApp has officially made WhatsApp Business available. Initially, companies in Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States can use the free Android app, soon the rest of the world will follow.

The goal of WhatsApp Business is to make it easier for businesses to connect with customers, WhatsApp said. For this, they can set up company profiles, with contact details and a description of the company. They will also be able to send ready-made answers to frequently asked questions, offer greetings and prepare out-of-office messages.

They also get access to statistics, with which they can analyze the use of the app. Customers of the companies can see from the account that it is a business account. WhatsApp has put WhatsApp Business for Android in the Play Store in five countries. The worldwide release will follow “within weeks” and an iOS version is also on the way.

It is no surprise that WhatsApp is removing its business service from beta: there were already indications for this earlier on Thursday. The first images appeared a few months ago and KLM had already tested the app recently.
