WhatsApp tests adjusting already sent messages

WhatsApp is testing the ability to adjust sent messages. It is a hidden feature that has been added to the test version of its iOS app. Only recently sent messages can probably be edited.

The test of the hidden feature in the beta of WhatsApp Messenger 2.17.1.869 for iOS, is found it by twitterer WABetaInfo. He also prepared a changelog of the changes. He suggests that only messages that are up to a few days old can still be edited by the user. The feature is still under development and is disabled by default in the beta.

The changelog also includes the option to revoke recently sent messages. The arrival of this feature was also discovered on Wednesday. Both new options have only been found in the test version of WhatsApp’s iOS apps. In the beta, further adjustments regarding the status have been made. This allows users to forward and delete their status.
