WhatsApp allows sharing of links to video and audio conversations

WhatsApp is getting a feature that allows users to share links leading to video and audio calls. The feature, called Call Links, will be rolled out this week and will be available to all WhatsApp users.

Will Cathcart, the head of WhatsApp, writes that the feature allows users to easily join a conversation. If a user wants to have a video or audio call with other WhatsApp users, they will soon be able to create a link to the conversation from the Calls tab and then share this link. Any user who receives the link can join the conversation.

WhatsApp is currently working on several features. One is a feature that allows users to leave group conversations without notifying all users about it. In addition, Meta announced at the beginning of September that WhatsApp will receive various paid functions in the future. The company has not yet said what features it will be.
