The Acer Predator X27 has surfaced in an online store. The monitor with 4k resolution, G-Sync and HDR will be released on June 1, according to the store. The screen was initially supposed to come out last year, but was postponed several times.

The offer has appeared on the American web store Newegg, where it can be pre-ordered for $ 1999.99. The website indicates that the monitor is not yet in stock, but estimates that it will be on June 1.

The Acer Predator X27 is one of the first 4k monitors with G-Sync. It has a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and a response time of 4ms. The panel is equipped with a quantum dot layer, which would benefit the contrast. It also has a maximum brightness of 1000 nits and supports HDR.

Acer announced the monitor in April last year and then promised to release it in November. However, the company was unable to achieve this and later postponed the monitor until the first quarter of 2018. During CES this year, it turned out that that target would not be achieved either. The Asus counterpart PG27UQ has also been delayed, although online store CentralPoint indicates that it will probably be available from June 8.
