Warner Bros. introduces fighting game MultiVersus with Batman and Arya Stark

Warner Bros. announces a new fighting game, MultiVersus. The game focuses on teamwork and features multiple characters from well-known franchises. Multiversus will be free-to-play, will feature online events, and will hit the market in 2022.

In the game it will be possible to play with characters from the Scooby Doo franchise, Adventure Time, Looney Tunes and the Game Of Thrones series. According to the makers, the visual look of each of the figures has been taken into account, as well as their distinctive sounds. This makes it possible to play with Batman, Bugs Bunny, Arya Stark and Jake The Dog, among others.

According to CEO of developer Player First Games, Tony Huynh, teamwork is very important in the game. Characters therefore have attacks and properties that benefit themselves, but also their teammates, and can win virtual fights. The game modes confirm the importance of teamwork in this game as Multiverse features two-on-two battles and a 4-player free-for-all mode. A one-on-one battle is also possible.

MultiVersus will be released in 2022 for Xbox One, Series S and X, PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles and on PC. A specific release date has not yet been announced. After the release, the developer plans new game modes, characters, skins and online events.
