Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is getting a new expansion in December
The Back to Ubersreik expansion is coming to Vermintide 2 in December. An exact release date has not yet been announced. The expansion contains three maps from Vermintide 1 and will cost 8 euros.
Developer Fatshark reports that the maps have been improved and that the expansion has new challenges. It is still unknown what exactly these challenges are. In addition, Fatshark says there is a “secret surprise” in the expansion.
Warhammer: Vermintide is a first person shooter. It takes place in the Warhammer Fantasy universe, during the early stage of the end times. Players must fight against the Skaven, a race of ratmen who destroy everything in their path. Vermintide 1 was released on October 23, 2015 for Windows. A year later, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions came out.
Vermintide 2 was released for Windows last March and the Xbox One version in July. Fatshark is still developing a beta version for the PlayStation 4, for which players can sign up. It is not yet known when the beta version will be released. In Vermintide 2, players fight not only against the Skaven, but also against warriors from Nurgle, the Chaos god of sickness and destruction.
