Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II with Expansions Announced for Mac and Linux
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II and the two expansions Chaos Rising and Retribution have been announced for Linux and Mac computers. The announcement comes more than 7.5 years after the Windows versions became available.
The games will be available September 29, writes developer Feral Interactive on Twitter. Feral Interactive is a development studio that specializes in producing ports to Linux and Mac. Dawn of War II was originally created by Relic Entertainment and was released for Windows in February 2009. The Chaos Rising expansion became available in March 2010, and Retribution followed a year later. The sequel to the game, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III, has already been announced. That game is currently only available for Windows, in 2017.
