Vodafone has been struggling with a malfunction since Monday afternoon. According to the provider, the 4G network has been affected. The company advises customers to use the 3G network. Due to the outage, customers mainly experience problems with mobile internet.

Vodafone say on Twitter that customers can use the 3g network and that a solution is being worked on. When the problems will be over is still unclear; Vodafone could not be reached for comment.

According to All Disruptions, the malfunction is around half past three in the afternoon to arise. Several users report that the 4g symbol is visible on smartphones, but that the internet via the 4g network falters. If 3G is deliberately set as the mobile network, mobile internet will work normally. Some users report that calling does not work well either. The reports about the disruptions come from all kinds of different regions of the country.

Update 17.42: Vodafone reports on Twitter that the 4g network has been outaged for a short time, but the network is now ‘recovering’ and the problems are decreasing. It is not yet clear when the malfunction will be completely resolved and the network will function normally again.
