Vodafone has interference with making and receiving calls – update
Vodafone customers may not be able to make or receive calls, the provider reports. The outage occurs on Vodafone’s 2g and 3g network. It is unclear how long the outage will last.
Vodafone says it is working on a solution to the malfunction. People who call Vodafone customers don’t get a response and voicemail doesn’t work either; it is therefore impossible to deduce on the telephone that someone has called. Both private individuals and business customers seem to be affected by the outage. Mobile internet seems to work.
It is unknown what caused the outage and Vodafone does not provide an indication of when it expects customers to be able to make and receive calls again. It also happens that customers can call themselves, but are unreachable for calls from others.
Update, 4:40 PM: Vodafone claims that the malfunction has been resolved.
