View photos in original aspect ratio in the Photo Library

By default, in your photo library on your iPhone, you see your photos as squares on a grid. And that while most of your photos are not square at all, but elongated in width or height. So they are cropped in this view. What if you prefer to see them in full? New in iOS 14 is that you can display your photos in the correct proportions. There will then be some white space around it.

• Open the Photos app.
• Go to “All Photos”.
• Tap the sphere with the three dots at the top right.
• Here you choose “Grid in proportion”.
