Valve has made the game Counter-strike: Global Offensive free to play. In addition, a Battle Royale mode has come into the game, the developer says. Customers who have purchased the game will receive a so-called Prime status.

People with Prime status will be matched with other people with such status and will also have access to more items, Valve says. If you download the game now in the free-to-play version, you will have access to the entire game and all the modes it contains. If you want to upgrade to Prime now, you pay 13.25 euros, according to Steam.

The Battle Royale mode is called Danger Zone. Players are in a level with up to eighteen players and play alone, in duos or in trios. A game lasts on average about ten minutes, claims Valve. The new mode can be found in the game immediately through an update.
