Valve adds filter for PlayStation controllers to Steam
Valve has added a filter to Steam via an update that makes games with support for PlayStation DualShock and DualSense controllers easier to find in the store and in users’ libraries.
Thanks to the update, Steam users can now also see whether a game supports the controller they have previously played with, as well as whether a game requires a controller to play. The Steam store will also now apply an automatic filter set to the controller a player last played with.
Valve says that approximately twelve percent of all active players on Steam regularly play with a controller. For popular ball games, more than eighty percent of gamers would reach for a controller. RPGs reportedly account for more than half of all gamers.
