It is not yet known when the PC version of Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be released; the Steam page only states that the game will be released later this year. Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a Japanese RPG that contains both third-person action and turn-based elements. The game is in fact the first full-fledged successor to the original Valkyria Chronicles from 2008, as previous installments after the original only came out for the PSP handheld.
Like the previous installments in the series, the game is set in an alternate reality in Europe during a ‘World War II’ in 1935. The new game is about the same era as the original Valkyria Chronicles, but features different characters in the lead roles, such as Claude Wallace, the leader of Squad E.
