Microsoft has shown new Windows 10 smartphones in Japan in collaboration with a number of manufacturers. At the event, Vaio announced that it is developing a Windows smartphone for the business market.

This is evident from a report from the website impress.co.jp. Although Vaio hasn’t shown anything yet, it has announced that it is working on a Windows 10 smartphone that should hit the market in early 2016. It would be a midrange device, aimed at the business market, with support for Continuum.

In March Vaio showed its first smartphone, an Android device with a 5 “screen. There were rumors that this model would also come to Europe, but that has not happened until now. Vaio was part of Sony until early 2014 and the brand name Sony laptops were sold, and the electronics giant sold the division to a Japanese venture capitalist.

Various Asian smartphone makers showed their new hardware at the Japanese event. The most striking device is the NuAns NEO, because of its wooden accents. Specifications are unknown. Third Wave presented the Digginos Mobile DG-W10M, a budget model with HD screen and 16GB storage space. Acer was there with the Jade Primo.
