V-Rally 4 gets Hillclimb mode

Publisher Bigben and developer Kylotonn Racing Games show in a new trailer that V-Rally 4 will get a Hillclimb mode. The mountain racing mode is one of five different racing disciplines.

In addition to Hillclimb, the game will receive Rally Challenges, in which players must complete certain challenges. The other three modes are Extreme-Kana, V-Rally Cross, and Buggy. The first mode is all about drifting, the second is racing against seven opponents and the third mode is about racing buggies on rough terrain.

V-Rally 4 features modern and classic rally cars and is set in Africa, Siberia and the American desert, among other places. There will be a career mode in which all different disciplines are discussed. The game is set to release in September for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. There will also be a version for Nintendo Switch at a later date.

In name, V-Rally 4 is the successor to the classic V-Rally games. The first part was released in 1997 for the PlayStation console. Alain Jarniou, who is responsible for V-Rally 4 at developer Kylotonn Racing Games, has worked on V-Rally 3 for the PlayStation 2 in the past. The studio that makes V-Rally 4 is also responsible for the WRC Rally games. .
