The sports app Endomondo is no longer available in the app stores from the end of this year. From April of next year, the app will stop working completely. The makers say users can transfer their data to MapMyRun.

From January 1, 2021, Endomondo can no longer be downloaded from the Play and App Store. Maker Under Armor says the app will no longer receive bug fixes from then on, and customer service will no longer provide support. The app will continue to work for another four months. From April 1 of next year, the app can no longer be used at all. Premium members will no longer pay money from December 1, but can enjoy premium features until December 31.

Under Armor says it’s best for users to switch to UA MapMyRun as an alternative. The company allows users to download their data, but also allows data to be synchronized with MapMyRun. This is only possible as long as the function is still available, ie not after April 1, 2021. Only sports sessions can be transferred to MapMyRun. Friends lists, comments, profile information, personal records and challenges cannot be transferred.
